About the Program
The Fuller Center is not a church, but a servant of the church. Our Faith Builders program seeks to provide innovative and creative methods for engaging church congregations and other faith communities in our Christian ministry. We provide the opportunity to serve and the guidance to do so, allowing churches to put their faith into action. In turn, the work of churches allows us to expand our ministry in the name of God.
The Fuller Center offers three, unique opportunities for churches desiring to serve their communities:
- Work with your local Fuller Center covenant partner on established projects.
- Send mission teams to work with our Global Builders program in the U.S. and abroad.
- Do Greater Blessing repairs in an area without an existing Fuller Center organization.
Psalm 24 tells us "The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness there of." God has blessed us with enough resources to solve the housing crisis, we just need enough concerned people to get organized to take action. Do you have homeowners in need in your community? Is God tapping you on the shoulder to find new ways to put your faith into action? If so, we hope you will join us!
Ongoing Faith Builder Events:
The National Faith in Action movement encourages congregations to leave the pews and volunteer in the community for one Sunday. Read about last year's National Faith in Action day!
This year the day of service will be 10-9-11. We
are asking all of our Covenant Partners and Faith Builder partners to
organize church volunteer service events throughout the entire Faith in
Action weekend. Find out more about Faith in Action and how to get involved.
Servant to the Church Campaign:
The Fuller Center for Housing is inviting 3,000 churches in the U.S. to partner with us in our mission to eradicate poverty housing. Learn more about the Servant to the Church campaign and how you can join us.
While remaining unashamedly Christian, we welcome all people to participate in and support our work. We place no religious requirements on our beneficiaries. The Fuller Center will provide logistical, communication and other support as needed while connecting faith groups to a larger community of churches and organizations participating in this ministry. Together we can make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action with people everywhere.

Five Loaves and Two Fishes Campaign:
The Fuller Center plans to engage 500 churches to repair two homes each for 1,000 families in need...
How It Works:
Homeowners with limited incomes can apply for a Fuller Center Greater Blessing repair to have their homes restored to simple, decent living conditions. Homeowners pay back the cost of the repairs on terms they can afford without legal obligation.
Your church has the opportunity to work on small local mission projects for those who cannot afford tasks like replacing a leaking roof, fixing broken windows or repairing hazardous kitchens or bathrooms.
